  • Nearly unlimited track time (7AM - 12 Midnight)
  • 96x40 CRC HD Carpet / Clik-Trak Boards / sub-floor
  • Best lit track in the country. It's bright!
  • World's only custom LED scoreboard.
  • Full coverage on LiveRC.
  • Triple A-mains.

One of the finest facilities in the country, 5280 Raceway is a permanent indoor carpet track located in the heart of Denver.

On-road racing needs another quality 3 day event, run by experienced racers who know exactly what it takes to make racing fun. We understand traveling to race is expensive, and feel it's important to deliver not only a quality experience, and enjoyable track layout, but also a large amount of track time to test and tune. Sitting in a building for 12 hours a day to only get 10 minutes on the track has its place, but that's not what we're about. Get the most for your dollar against quality competition at a nearly perfect track.

Entries to this event will be limited, so when signups go live, and we'll give you plenty of notice before they do, be ready. The race will fill up fast, and has been extremely popular the last 7 years.

Classes
17.5 Sedan
13.5 Sedan
Mod Sedan

17.5 1/12
13.5 1/12
Mod 1/12

13.5 WGT

All classes (except mod) require ROAR legal motors and ESC's in "blinky" spec mode.
Jaco Blue spec tire, SXT 3.0 spec sauce (available at track.)

Schedule
Thursday, April 11th - Layout installed. Track open all day for practice. Club race starts at 6PM.
Friday, April 12th - Open Practice (7AM - 12 Midnight)
Saturday, April 13th - 3 rounds of qualifying
Sunday, April 14th - 1 round of qualifying, mains (triple A's)

Looking at the web site F1 is one of the listed classes. Will this class be offered? If so I think we can get some UF1 drivers to attend. I also think open
tire rule would help bring in more F1 racers. I will be at this race running sedan, wgt, and F1 if possible.

Very excited to be involved once again, you guys have put together an awesome facility, and have one of the best groups of racers around. Excited to see that this year may just end up being the biggest and best - can't wait!

bring them along, we have enough people to make a good heat, we can add the class at the race. we only have one guy locally with an f1 car (me) so it will have to be people coming in from out of town to build the class.

VTA will be the same way. If your coming and like to run VTA bring it. If we have enough will make a class. I know locally we have 5 to 6.

We've decide to use ROAR VTA rules so any 25.5 motor and 2S lipo size. All the other ROAR VTA rules are basically the same as USVTA.

We made some major improvements to our subfloor this weekend. She will be smooth and fast for the MHIC, and the "slowbirds" warm up race jan 12-13.

Our guys are striving to make 5280 raceway the best track in the country.

Without speaking for anyone, I imagine if you follow roar 8.10.3.1 you will be safe, and being mod put in whatever motor you think you can handle.
