TT01 problems... help
 

Hi all, I am running a TT01 as a drift car and sometimes when i turn right it turns left. To explain the complete problem.... if i turn left it turns left (normal), when i turn right it creaches forward and turns left and sometimes shifts.

It mainly happens after being driven for 10 minutes... is it shorting because things are gettign too hot? If i let it sit for 20 minutes and drive it the problem goes away... So, i think it has to do with gettign to hot. BUT, is it possible that it happens when the batteries are dying?

Hi there, we ran the tt01 for the 24 hour race in Jackson NJ. That car is incredibly sturdy!

Anyway, I am no expert and your problem could come from different things but here are some suggestions.

It could be your steering servo that is tired. When a servo gets too old and has been used a lot, it can start acting funny.
It could also be your servo working too much and overheating. If that's the case it should come from your EPA that is not adjusted properly. I mean your EPA (or dual rate) throw might be set further than the actual steering possibility of your car. So when you're steering the servo tries to go way further than possible.
When not moving try to steer all the way and see if the servo is forcing further than the point when the wheels block. Then reduce your EPA or dual rate until the servo stops making noise.

If that doesn't work, try replacing your steering servo maybe? Also check all your wiring to make sure nothing is susceptible to short circuit?

All in all I guess it's always good to start with the obvious, which in your case seems to be the steering servo.

I suspect it's just your battery is flat. After 20 mins of rest it recovers some voltage and behaves. What Mah is the battery, what motor are running?
