Who Would Like To See 1/12 Scale Bodies On WGT 1/10 Cars

I left part of the wing transparant when i painted a nissan p35 235mm body this year. Then it kind of looks like the wing is separate. Looks well on the circuit.

I'd also like to add, though a little off topic, that the best looking car at this years IIC was the 12th scale using the Tamiya GTP body.

I ran the first 1/10 onroad nats with a TRC in Birmingham Alabama.. My batterys were not up to snuff with the other cars so I went to the local shop and picked up 3 packs. After testing them for 3 laps they seemed ok. When the race started I found out I had 3 minute batterys for 4 minute races.
In the main a bud of mine gave me a pack to use. It was fast but it did not get me out of the F main but my time was the same as the 3rd place a main winner. I think it was the Parma driver but I can't remember his name. I did win the F main with no problem. I still have some of those old cars.

There is a decent amount of WGT approved bodies out there, just a little difficult to get nowadays.
- PF Chevy Corvette C6
- PF Sophia
- PR Gianna GT
- Parma DB9 GT
- HPI Toyota Supra GT
- HPI Dodge Viper GTS-R
- HPI Mazda RX-8
- HPI Saleen Mustang
- HPI Nissan R34 FT-R
All these meet standard WGT rules and don't run over the 205mm width limit. All are based on "production" front engine/rear wheel drive cars as well. None go over .30", All meet standard Roof height, Wing & windshield specs to be legal. Club rules seem to be a little more forgiving.
* Oh and I forgot my personal FAVORITE & current body....
- The McAllister Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

MXRICH I hate to tell you the first 1/10th nationals was held in Tulsa OK.(1986). This was the first race that Associated built a 10L several nights before the race and won the nationals with Tony N. The Alabama race was 1988.
As for the bodies In was designed as a GT class. I tried to get it started with the Porsche GT1 body for several years before someone got the GT car bodies of choice. If you want to race a Pan car WGT is your class. If not fine a 1/12th and run. The bodies will come when the economy returns?????

1/12 bodies won't fit right on wgt cars. They are much too small.
