Just because they came pre-glued from the factory doesn't mean that they can't come unglued. Not every tire manufacturer has the same quality control as well.

While it has not happened to me, and I am unsure of the tires the original poster is using, pre-glued tires do not always stay glued. I have been told Much More tires are notorious for coming unglued (on the pre mounted rubber TC slicks). My Sweeps (QTS as well as open race rubber) and Jaco Blues have never come unglued. My VTA tires that I glue myself...different story...we won't go there.

Sorry it sounds like I missed all the fun while I was at work

In my experience, you should check the gluing of your tires every run as a matter of course.(at the same time as you clean them)

The only tires I've come accross that don't come unglued after several runs are pre mount Sorex done at the Schumacher factory. They're excellent.
I think the Jaco blues I used in Vegas the other year were good aswell...

I've recently experienced a pre-glued Sweep losing nearly the entire bead. Chased a setup problem all weekend only to find the tire issue on Tuesday.

Car still needs a rebuild though..

Done the rebuild as the Tire was not all the issues. The rear sway bar mounts were super sloppy and not giving it the correct action. Fixed the glaring issues and reset the car back to a know setup. Will be testing tomorrow. I am amazed at the setup possibilities with this car. Have only TC4 and FT tc4 experience it's a bit different to setup but very nice.

Since this car is in VTA trim I will be playing with roll center as on my TC4 I really like a low Low Low roll center but looking at 98% of the setups for this car online the roll center settings are way higher than I would have thought.
