Even with the high speed gears, what kind of speed are you talking?

Here's my initial test run with the new setup. Since the back end seemed really loose with this kind of power and my light weight 3s batteries I added some weight to the rear of the car. Also the savox 1257tg had way to much responce so I had to slow that down. Out of fear I only took it up to...

Maybe this weekend I'll get to really open it up, its got plenty more throttle to go. I'm pretty new at these high speed passes. It's kinda scary!

Im not sure but I was thinking the same thing. I added a bunch of weight to my car for speed runs and that made the car drive much better. I actually want the pro shocks but the price is insane. $120 minimum. Just like every thing else that's metal on the car is being sold like it's machined out of solid gold or unobtainium.

I'm not doing speed runs I'm trying to race this thing on Sunday and seem to be at an impasse on suspension tuning. Using. Droop and ride height and shock position has got it handling ok but I'm either loose on corner exit or pushing the front at neutral power mid corner with those adjustments. Any help would be appreciated. Usaa looking at some losi truck springs that might fit. Will take the car to my lhs today and try to find something .

What batteries are you running? If your running 4s then I would try adding some stick on weight under the rear drive shaft just a little at a time till you feel good on power out of a turn, my car was really loose in the rear and that seemed to make a nice difference on mine. This was a alternative to softer springs for me since I cant find any springs. I assume your running sweep tires or something similar because the stock tires are way to hard for serious handleing. Im running 2 3s lipos that weigh the same as 2 2s lipos so my power to weight ratio was way off without the added weight. If your tuning on the street then the handleing on a prepped track might be a lot different. I hope this helps some.

P.S. try some tire sauce if you don't have tire warmers.

Good suggestions I'm running the stock rubber waiting on my good tires to come in but the weight may be what. I need since I'm running on 2-2s packs

The only place that has both front and rear is rcboyz on ebay Team C GT8L (same car but nitro version I think) I would verify this before ordering to be 100% sure. Nitrohouse has a lot of parts for the car but shocks are back ordered.

Rear--Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=350805935909

Front--Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=370825644551

Not a problem guys. I'm going to continue running my gtp2e for on road track stuff and the gt-v2e for speed runs. My gtp was rippen on the track last summer, should be even better this summer.
