BigDog Racing.......... Actually I believe SMC had deals before Trinity. I know of other people that will have the 3800mah cells and they will not come from Trinity.

Trinity tries......... but doesn't always succeed.

Jeff- Danny is the sole importer of IB cells to the US. If Trinity isn't purchasing from Danny then they are purchasing from a supplier in another country.... unless soemthing has changed in the last fwe weeks

BigDogRacing........ well, at least we are on the same page about importing. Yet, there might be other sources as well. Trinity though wont' have them though.

Yes we are the sole importer of IB labeled cells for the North American market. Trinity,LRP,Yokomo and others have relabeled IB cells.

SMC has a great relationship with IB and we don't see it as a problem if Trinity has it's own shrink.

Default Lipo

just picked up a lipo pack 4000mah,5 amp charge rate ,40 amp discharge rate, it the same size as a side by side pack we use now

this pack will blow every thing away that the sub-c cell can offer
no internal resistance (a little maybe)

Mr Jolly- be careful because it's not hard to pull 40 amps, especially on carpet. What kind of LiPo pack is it and does it have the on-board voltage protection and cell monitoring PCM for cell balancing? If it isn't running the newest software on the PCM or voltage protection unit then you will find it starts to "stutter" long before it runs out of juice. Post a link to the company that built the pack.. I'm interested in seeing what they have.

FYI- the new LiPo packs are capable of a 20C nominal discharge rate with 30C spikes which means your pack would be able to handle 80 amps continuous if it were the newest tchnology!!
