Don't get to wrapped up on his Kyosho car, this will be the last race on that car. He said the new proto stuff should be on the track this summer.

Is it me or does it seem kind of odd that Kyosho would even send them to the Nats with a car that they seem to think is not too competitive? I remember a couple years ago HPI didn't send Hara to the Reedy Race because the PRO4 wasn't ready.

Perhaps he has to go because he has other sponsors. I don't know that to be true, just a thought.

Ted-can you fill us in on how Bobby is running and the other Team Losi drivers like Bean and Chicky and Rob (if you know).

THanks,
Ray

Ray,
I wish I could. Still waiting for the phone call today. Bobby was so happy to have his stuff back he hardly told me anything about how everyone was doing.

He did say the the new car (kit) was very good. He liked it better than the prototype.

As soon as I hear I will post it.

If the color of the boards is your biggest complaint then I'd say that's an endorsement of the track. The facility looks pretty good to me.

If the boards aren't painted then Robbie Love should feel right at home right Rodney? Lay it down Ohio boyz! Show them how it's done!

If they don't give out trophies for this trophy race then it will be JUST like home.

Personally, I think the layout from this past year's Cleveland has been the best I've ever raced on and best I've seen. It was open enough to lay down the ponies, but technical and flowing to challenge both car and driver. That's what a real racetrack should be like.

As far as the track as a whole, it looks like a pretty nice facility. The one thing that bugs me is that people had to bring their own chairs. I know it's not a very profitable business, but have enough chairs for people for a race of this magnitude.

Ian, well respected names actually said that? I am surprised. The best racing is on the technical tracks. Guys that can go toe-to-toe for 5 minutes at the speed modified cars go is very impressive on technical tracks. Best racing display I've seen: Paulie and Josh at this year's Cleveland.
Brian, I actually had one of my layouts changed 15 minutes before I opened practice for the first triple crown race we held at Crossroads (R.I.P) The layout was deemed too tight for good racing by TWO Factory Pros. Same thing happened the following year.

Bobby called, he is second in 19t to Billy Easton and Ralph Burch is TQ in Mod. 12th scale Mod was still running 5 minutes ago. He will call when they post the results of round one.

He said there was lots of breakage in the Mod classses, him too.

More news later.

It's a personal prototype!!! Kyosho has nothing to do with it.

The prototype won't be out until December. These are just put together cars in the meantime. Josh is still in the drawing stages of the new car. BTW it's gonna be good!
