Hmmm...interesting thought. I guess the easiest thing to do is just buy a new one anyway. They are a little pricey so I was hoping not to but I didn't realize that there are multiple versions of it. Thanks!

Being in Texas, we will be one of the first shops to get them
Our T4 pre orders are up!

Since the T3 series of cars they have used the same belts (T4 is also the same)

Although the writing may have rubbed off a bit, it should be printed onto the belts

Front belts
Standard P/N 305432
Low Friction P/N 305434

Rear belts
Standard 305446
Low Friction 305447

These are the only belts you'll need for all the T3 & T4 cars

Thanks Skiddins. I can't read it anymore on the front belt. Maybe that's a sign that I need a new one anyway. Is the low friction part that much better than the standard part - can you feel the difference? I am a slow guy but do plan to race a bit, even if in the D main. I think I clawed my way to the tail of the C last time out. So I'll spend a few more bucks if it gives me a few hundreds.

Spec-R makes belts that fit the T3/T4 and are priced for mortals.

Will xray release kits to update current T4's to the newest specs, or do you have to buy parts individually?

That is not right. Xray always offered a conversion for the previous kit, there is a kit to convert a T2 to a T2'09 and t3 to a T3'11. they don't offer a conversion when there are to many changes and the price wouldn't make any sense.

I dont know if Xray will release a full conversion kit in one bag but you can buy the parts to convert a T4 over to the new car. The problem is usually that the parts wont be available for 2-3 months after the full kit is released due to them trying to get kits out. So you usually have to buy the full car if you want it at the release date.

I think they will release more info very soon. Mine is hitting the rug tonight!
