Cheers guys, i'm just getting myslef confused and need some help lol!

I think I've found the answer...

On the XRAY web page for the T4 they say that the RF holders have been moved inboard by 0.75mm each side (very close to Hagberg mod). Using these and some figures from the Exotek XR3'12 page, i THINK that the RR trackwidth (centre of pin to centre of pin) of the T4 is 44.5mm and the RF is 40mm...I would appreciate confirmation if possible though.

Thanks.

The RR hangers are the same on both cars they use different washers to get the track width.

Yep, thanks Mikkel, I thought the RR distance was the same, as you say XRAY just reduced the spacer from 1.5mm to 0.75mm per side, but I wasn't sure about the RF - the XRAY website confirmed that the RF has been re-drilled.

Thanks for the replies mate.

Best,

The rear track width, before any shims etc, is 0.75mm narrower at the pivot block mounts at the front of the rear wishbones.
This is why the T4 uses 0.75mm shims at the rear to get 3deg toe in, while the T3'12 uses 1.5mm to get 3deg toe.

So the T4 is part way towards the 'Hagberg mod' which if I recall, was 1mm narrower.

From Martin Hudy's Twitter page -

"Successfully tested some new Xray T4 prototypes"

Does he mean new parts, or an update to the entire kit ? I was thinking of getting a T4 very soon. Now I might wait a while.

Xray doesn't usually do too many drastic mid year changes. They release a new TC around every October, so your choice is buy a T4 now, which is still a great car, or wait 7 months for the T4 '14 or whatever.

I use the YR Tornado fans, they sound like a vaccum cleaner. I have mine servo taped to the chassis and centershaft bulkhead just behind the motor on my T4

R1wurks single 30mm fan mount, it's tiny and works great. I blotted a yr 40mm fan to it, though the fan it comes with seems pretty good. All available through tqrcracing.com.

What are you guys thoughts on pro setups where people are running very light shock oil? (for example in the 250cst range front and back)

Just curious on the feedback. I'm running the stock setup at the moment (350cst) and don't think I like the feel of the rear progressive springs. Does not feel consistent for me. Ordered the 2.5 spring to put in the rear and going to try it out. I know a lot of the setups call for 2.7 all around but I'm worried about twitchiness combined with soft oil.

That's why I stay away from Xray I almost got the new T4 but man changes and new car comes out way too fast I know it's innovation but I think they do release new car in-prematurely.. Not bashing xray just my 0.2 cents..
