Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. I knew I had seen it before but couldn't find it directly in the XRAY website.

I may be off but depending on track size, amount of timing, and boost I would start at a 4.5 FDR. Run for a couple minutes and check temp.

It does depend on your track size.

I run 84/28 with D3.5 17.5 boosted running a team orion ESC... med to high boost and turbo settings

Try starting with a 26 tooth pinion and std spur.
This will give 6.14 FDR.
As noted your boost and turbo settings make a huge difference and you will need to change the FDR as appropriate.

I used Hardman's set up from the Halloween classic. It is posted in this thread by Corey, but can't remember the date, sometime in the last week of October. He ran it with mod, and was before he had anything other then stock parts. My car works very well, I made some minor tweaks here and there. Depending on grip, I use the medium rear uprights, and because this chassis will roll so easy, I went with a slightly heavier shock oil, Losi 35. I talked to some people that think I was wrong with my shock oil choice, but any of the "good" drivers that run my car think it handles great. Oh, the track in Toledo where we run can be very tight, I have added pin sweep (for extra turn in) and play with different oils in the front gear diff. I like the 300k in there, but it can be hard to drive. I like the 2,000 oil in the rear diff also. Again depending on grip and layout, lighter oil may work better. With Snowbirds next week, I am sure the Xray site will be updated with the best setups soon.
