Does anyone else have a problem with how 'tight' the battery pack is to the motor/pinion?? Would anyone be interested in an altered battery retension system that would allow you to keep the existing 'width' but also move the battery our 1-2mm?

The car is great, but it is a problem.
I had to lengthen the flat spot on the rotor shaft so I could run the pinion backwards, and I also shaved just a little length off the shaft so it wouldn't hit the battery.

I guess that's the price of having everything as close to center as possible.

What we need is something that fits where those plastic nuts go in the center of the chassis that just move the lipo out slightly while still fitting under the belts.

Eds, are those home made lipo holders, if not where are they from?

Skiddins, the 417 uses a small palstic servo post to hold the lipo in place, i think it could work really well for this application - only issue may be the height of the part, its 7~8mm, maybe ok for the rear hole, not sure about the front...

I got mine as part of the Part A set for the TB03.

HTH,
Chris

Remove the nut push a bit of fuel tube over, cut it and glue it. But obviously lipo's are different sizes so u may need to dermal the plastic l's so lipo is not to tight. U only need fractions to clear.
