Yep, August 19th. Not sure how that will affect my racing activities, but I have tentative permision from the little woman to keep racing, at least on a slightly reduced schedule.

Guys,
It appears Associated is about to release a Factory Team TC4. It has a double deck graphite chassis with stand offs. Once the car is out, I plan to make blue accented carbon fiber standoffs to go with the chassis, similar to those I have made for the Xray FK05. Stay tuned for updates.

Erik

what is the diameter of the shafts for the Pro4?
it's a tight fit with the servo linkage almost toughing the shaft.
also... do you have anymore available?

lmk thanks...

you're getting married this Friday?... getting cold feet? hope not...
wish you well...after marriage..racing is down to 1 once month
if at all...

Erik,

I got the TC3 driveshafts in and they are KILLER. Look really good and are super light.

I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

Thanks,

Mike,
Glad you liked them. Now that the indoor season is starting again, I am starting to produce more of the drive shafts. I also have made carbon fiber standoffs for the Xray cars and plan to make them for the TC4 FT. They tie the upper and lower chassis plates together, are ultra strong and save about 2.5g (0.1oz) for a set of four. If anyone is interested in either the stand offs or lightweight drive shafts, my email has now changed so please use the address below or PM me. Thanks

ewippler@hotmail.com.

Thanks

Erik

I don't have the pro 4 shafts in stock, but can make them to order. The CF shaft diameter is right around 6.3mm which is slightly larger than stock, but the alum tips still fit the drive cups. I have sold 2-3 of them to HPI pro 4 owners and all have been satisified with the fit. Someone even requested a second for his spare car.

Shaft pricing (shipped anywhere in USA)
TC3 shafts $32ea
TC4 shafts $35ea
Pro4 shafts $35ea
Yok and Tamiya EVO - available as retrofit only $28ea (with doner shaft)

Erik, sweet looking stuff. I'd like to order a set of 4 posts, just like the ones you posted. Blue/black please. Let me know how long it'll take. I can send money ASAP.
