The HPI shafts are all purple for the moment. No plans for other colors at the moment.

I am not going to comment on the coordination of blue and purple. But personally, blue or even red would be better choices, but blue + red = purple. very interesting. I think the purple accents on HPI cars goes back to the Pro 2. Maybe HPI gets a gread deal on that color.

wrong! the price was CHF 50.- which is $40! we made it for the PRO4 / YOKOMO / TC3 / TC4.... they were all less than 5 grams (around 4.6 grams)! one driver run it at the worlds in florida.... in a yokomo with a 8T motor.

we're now producing parts for belt-cars which will be the future we think ... so we just have some yokomo shafts on stock.

ewippler, show me some close-ups!

Sorry, the shafts are sold out. As I wrote, we're just having some Yokomo on stock.

If somebody (a company!?) is interested in producing these great shafts please let us know (we can provide drawings, assembly manuals....). Therefore contact: rcmaniax@rcmaniax.ch

I am currently on vacation so i can't get any close ups for a few more days. I did attach a picture of the shaft itself, but it doesn't show all of the details. Also, the current TC3 shafts are slightly refined than the one in the picture. I will post close ups of the TC3 / TC4 shaft, HPI PRo 4 and Yokomo shafts that I have made to date in a few days.

Also, as I had to Pay my own money to keep this site going, I would appreciated others not pimping other shafts on this post (discussions are fine). If you want to help me pay for it that is fine. Sorry to be a pest, but I think it is only fair.

I have the Yokomo SG shafts available now (you can PM or email me at ewippler@visteon.com for details). The Evo III shafts are not planned at the moment as the shaft is a one piece design. If you want to try a custom shaft, PM or email me and I can see what I can do. As I am doing this for the fun of it, I am always willing to experiment.

I was able to get a few close up pictures. Sorry if the are a little fuzzy, but it apears my camera has cateracts and needs replacement. The 5 shafts I have so far are in the picture as follows:

From left to right; TC3 plastic tips, TC3 alum tips, TC4 alum tips, HPI Pro 4 alum tips, and Yok SG alum tips. I also will be making a custom shaft for the Tamiya Evo 3. stay tuned for how it turns out.
