WIth the start of on road indoor season approaching, I have several TC3 and TC4 carbon drive shafts available. I can also make retro fits as well if you have a stock donor part.

PM or email for details.

Erik

I had Erik build a carbon fiber shaft for my Tamiya EVO 6. The shaft Erik built turned out better then I expected. Very well built and 4 grams lighter then the stock aluminum shaft.

Thanks Erik

Glad you liked it. Please let me know if you need any thing else.

Also, the carbon shafts are much stiffer, and less prone to flexing at high speeds.

I can make the stock shaft on the TB EVO 6 into a carbon fiber shaft. The cost to do so is $25 plus return shipping (conversion cost is the same for other vehicles as well). However, I need a stock donor part to perform a conversion. Coming from austriala, it will be expensive to ship a part to me and then $6 or so to ship the completed part back. As the stock part is not available as a 5-digit part #, it will take some effort/$ to order one on my end. I looked on Tamiya's site and found 3 possible part #s for that drive shaft ($8-13 + shipping). It can be done, but it will take a bit of time. If I knew I could sell them in quanty, I would order the stock drive shafts and build them to sell. However, this model is not uber popular at the moment.

I am not sure if that helps answer your question or if you want to preceed.

Erik

PS: The Awesomatix cars are similar condition - I can convert exsisting parts, but do not plan to stock carbon fiber versions.

Default HPI Pro 4 and Tamiya Evo V Carbon drive shafts

Just finished the HPI Pro 4 and Tamiya Evo V carbon drive shafts. The are very light, especially the Evo V model. I am currently only making these two as conversions for people with donor drive shafts due to the rarity of these two models. Cost is $28 returned shipped anywhere in the USA (slightly more for Canada or international).

PM or email if interested.

Default Team Associated NTC3 Carbon Drive Shaft

I just finished up a limited batch of NTC3 carbon drive shafts. Replaces the ultra rare Team Associated part # 1712. Ultra light and very rigid. I have just two at the moment, but may make more if demand exisits.

Cost is the same as the TC3 drive shaft, $35 shipped anywhere in the USA.

Greetings Erik, I've been RC'ing since the early 2000's, coming around to running TC-3/4's; I'd jus' wanted to say thanks for the parts support for nearly a decade. You're parts rock and I hope you'll be around for while,
-Greg

thanks for the support.

FYI - I should have two tamiya drive shafts available for shipment (without retro fit) for the Tamiya Evo V and IV. Cost is still TBD, but initial indications are $42 shipped per drive shaft for those two models. I can still do retrofits for $28 shipped for those models as well as Associated TC3, NTC3 ad TC4.

Default HPI Pro 4 Carbon drive shafts

Over the past year or so, I have had numerious inquires about making drive shafts for the HPI Pro 4 touring car. Unforunately, I could not find stock donor shafts to make these parts.

However, I recently found a small cache of vinitage HPI Pro 4 stock drive shafts. As such, I hope to have 3 piece of HPI Pro 4 carbon Fiber drive shafts made up for sale by next weekend.

Due to the rarity and cost paid for the stock donor shafts, pricing on the HPI Pro 4 Carbon drive shafts looks to be $42ea, shipped anywhere in the USA.

PM or email if interested (I can place you on the waiting list).
