I have in the past, but I can't order the tips anymore. so the only way I have been able to support yokomo cars lately is by doing retrofits. PM or email me if interested.

Carbon Fiber Drive Shafts at CEFX Raceway

I am proud to announce that WHIP Racing Innovations Carbon Fiber Drive Shafts will now be available at CEFX Raceway in Westland, Michigan. For those of you that don't know, CEFX is owned and operated by Josh Cryul. I will still sell all parts direct to those not in the Michigan area. Please support our friends at CEFX.

I still have a few carbon fiber stand off sets left for the TC4-FT, Xray Fk05 and T2 models in stock. I also have drcarbon drive shafts for TC4, TC3 and HPI pro4 models ready to ship as well.

I have not made one for the NTC3 so I am not sure (allthough one could be made). From a twisting stand point they should be fine. however in a hard impact the carbon could splinter if the chassis is allowed to flex. As I am not as fimilar with the NTC3 design, does it have an upper brace to prevent front-back chassis flex? If so, I think it would be fine as I beleive the torque produced by a gas car is less than a modified electroic motor. The shafts have stude up against low turn modified motors and foam tires on carpet without issues.

If you want to try one out, I can make them in about 2-3 days. All I would need is the overall length (I know they are slightly shorter than the TC3 shaft) It would run $33 shipped (assuming the NTC3 uses the same tips as the TC3). Let me know what you think

Yep. Closeout special of $18 per set of four Fk05 stand offs shipped anywhere in the US (Xray T2 and TC4-FT sets are $33 shipped). I have two more sets and thats it, unless someone wants to place a multi piece custom order (3 or more) down the road. Thanks for checking.

Tim,
I will be there Sunday. That is the last set of standoffs if anyone is interested. I still have them for the Xray T2 and TC4FT until supplies run out.

Hey guys, I just had to say this about Erik and his stuff. First we don't really know each other. We race at the same track (well he races there and I just usually pratice there as I cannot race on their race days). We've talked in passing and he seems like a very nice guy. Always willing to help others and is extremely approachable. For those of you that do not know, he's also one HELL of a racer...probably one of the best Mini drivers in the world but would also probably make the A main in any TC race in the country.

Since I kinda know him...well more or less know of his reputation, and with him being a local boy I decided to try his products. I purchased a Whip Racing C/F Shaft for my FT TC4. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the package was how light it was...if you didn't look you would swear the package was empty. Once out of the package and in my hand for the fist time, the next thing I noticed was that it looked like it came from the factory. The fit and finish was absolutly perfect with the C/F shaft and the anodized blue ends...this thin looks great. The thing thing was that is was absolutly flex free. This thing is really stiff.

I have yet to try it in my car but I am sure it will be incredible. I was was so impressed with his shaft (no, not that shaft...LOL) that I also just purchased stand-off's from him or my TC4.

Check his stuff out. Definately worth the money.

Thanks Erik!!

great guy to deal with, and great A+ product. If you have any doubts about the carbon shafts, don't. First time out with mine took a tenth of a second per lap off my best previous times. I am even going to get one for my bj4.
Thanks for the great innovation, keep em coming.

Thanks for all of the confidence.

After a lot of unexpected demand, I have decieded to bring back the stand off sets for the T1FK05, TC4FT and T2. They all will be available on a prepaid only basis though. Anyone interested, please let me know.

I am planning another batch of HPI Pro 4 drive shafts. Any one that is interested, please let me know. Prepaid orders will take precidence - usually I am only able to make 4-5 at once and several are already spoke for. Order goes in tomorrow around noon. Thanks

TC3 and TC4 shafts are still in stock and ready for shipment, as are XRAY T2 stand off sets.
