Jeff,
I received the order. THanks. No one really took advantage of the sale. I guess $5 wasn't enough insentive. I did go ahead and place a relatively large order for TC3 and TC4 tips so there should be plenty in about one week. I will also have a few HPI shafts available as well at that time. The stand off sets are easier to make and don't have more than a few days lead time, however. TC4 stand offs are currently insock along with TC3 drive shafts. The Fk05 stand off sets have been started, but will not be ready until middle of next week.

As far as a shaft with one blue and one purle tip - that could be done, but I wouldn't advise it. The purple tips fit the HPI pro4 and the blue tips fit either the TC3 or TC4s, depending on shape.

Erik

Put on my new TC4 standoffs and driveshaft in. Wow is it trick looking. You can feel the weight difference in the driveshafts without having a scale. Just hold it in you hand and you can tell a differance. If all goes well I should get to run the car next weekend in a little practice.

trx1,
Sorry, but for now I only plan to offer the shafts in the colors the orginal cars came in. Maybe if demand is high enough, I can branch off into other colors. I know of a few green Xray cars, and a few guys with HPI with colors other than purple. It might be possible to remove the anodizing to have silver tips, but I will leave that up to the end users to try. Anyway, let me know if anyone else has some ideas.

wyd,
Glad you like the products. THe drive shaft will make a noticible difference in the cars acceleration as well as top end. The stand offs are a little less noticable, but they do make the car distinct and add that little extra performance over stock.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe holidays. Look for an update in a day or so as I return from break. Thanks

Erik

Hey Bob I will show my Whip Drive shaft and standoffs. I have Eriks parts on my FT TC4. You can look at it this week at RCO. Not only eye candy but the drive shaft is noticably lighter. The stand offs are stiff and are a tad lighter as well just looking damn cool.

Bob,
The TC4 shafts will be ready Sunday, Dec 4th. If orded this weekend, they will ship Monday morning via USPS. I do have the TC3 shafts in stock which can be used on the TC4 assuming Associated part #3917 (TC3 Drive Shaft Accessories - $6.00) is used. The TC3 shafts are slightly cheaper, but unless your friend has the parts from the TC3, I would just wait.

A fresh batch of Xray T1FK05 standoffs will be ready to ship tomorrow. Still looks like Monday for the TC4 and HPI drive shafts.

Well I finally got to run my TC4 with the new graphite TC4 driveshaft. I ran stock tonight and the driveshaft worked great. Glad I bought this setup as my car seemed to have qucik acceleration all night. The standoffs where also noticed by a few racers. Everything looked and worked flawlessly.

I am glad everything worked up to expectations. Still working on those pesky HPI and TC4 drive shafts. They are taking much longer than I had hoped, but I should have them ready tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's patience.
