Hey Erik sent payment for the driveshaft and standoffs.

I will check out your mini pics. I ran TCS in 04 and Won at RCO and Laurel in GT2 with my TB-02. I since sold the car since I couldn't run it in the 05 season as I couldn't make either race. The only car I have left is a TA03-RS TRF but I won't run in in GT1 as it really don't have much of a chance and I keep it as a collectors piece. It is the longest I have ever kept any R/C car I owned.

Thanks
Brian

I still have my Nats winning M04M, a M03, a TB01 rally racer and a TL01 spec racer. Each of them has a TCS race victory (half a dozen each for the minis). I have owned a few more Tamiya cars, but alas, they have all been sold. I think the Minis are safe for sentimental reasons, but I would love to find a good home for the other two. Not a lot of TCS racing for me over the last few years. I guess I felt a little spited after driving all the way to the 2003 WI TCS race only to be told the day of the race that I wasn't eligible for prizes. First time they instituted a past national champs rule. Oh well, I always had fun at the races and made a lot of friends around the country so maybe I will get back into it one of these days.

Man that kinda sucks about driving all that way to find that out. Not like you went their just to win a free 100 buck kit but still it was just the thought. I know your mini at RCO was one of the fastest ones I have ever seen for a Cooper. Damn fast!!!!!!!! I just sold my M04 that I bought used and never ran. Love to see a nice class of them but the guys only get them out a few times a year at best. Touring stock and 19t are the best classes around my area. RCO is pretty slow the last year plus but still have a nice TL01 following.

I might run a TCS race in 06 but undecided at this time and if I do not sure what I will run. maybe the new 05 car in GT2 or GT1.

I guess it is Tamiya's series so they can do what they please. Just would have been nice had it been commom knowledge before heading out. Oh well, that is in the past.

For some reason I was able/lucky enough to have a super fast mini motor. Actually I have aquired two of them. Not sure how they got that fast, but they just were. having a good handling car doesn't hurt as well. Did you have a chance to check out the revised web site? It has a few nice pcis of Tamiya cars. The F201 and McLaren Mini GTR are pretty sweet.

Erik

That mini is dialed with that mini McClaren body on it. I never seen one of those before. Man I really like the way that thing looks.

It actually handles phenomally, sort of the like a slightly overweight 1/12th scale. It also looks pretty trick. An astute viewer might actually notice the Tamiya Alpine A110 wheels on the car. THey look very similar to the actual mcLaren GT wheels.

Very cool. I'm a fan of Tamiya cars and hope they do a remake of the Tamiya Fox!!!!!! If they do I will be ordering at least one new one but maybe 2 and keep on unopened.

Holiday Special Offer

With the upcoming holidays, I will not have time to make more carbon drive shafts in the next few weeks. As such, I am offering $5 off all preorders of TC4, HPI Pro4, Yokomo SG and Tamiya Evo4 carbon fiber drive shafts. This puts the price of each shaft at $30 shipped to anywhere in the USA. The offer is valid for preorders taken between Nov. 19th and Nov. 25th, 2005. The tips will be ordered on Nov. 26th and the completed drive shafts should ship on Dec. 6th. The Stand Off sets for all vehicles and the carbon drive shafts for the TC3 are not included in this offer as they are currently available and in stock. However, they could be added to a preorder at no additional shipping cost. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving.

Erik

FYI - Check the web site in the next few days for TC4 FT standoff sets. Looks to be a bigger weight savings than on the T1FK05 - over 4 grams.

I have used the standoffs on my Xray with great success and they do look very trick. The black out look is something to be seen. Also removing a sizeable amount of weight is also nice. The TC4 FT stand offs will be ready to ship on Monday for those that are interested. Same price as the T1FK05 stand off sets. Just PM or email for details.

The first batch of TC4 Factor Team stand offs were finished up this morning. Very nice. They came in at 4.4grams for a set of four. That is 48% lighter than the stock stand offs (9.2g for a set of four stock standoffs). I posted a few pictures in the post and hope to have them added on the web site tomorrow. Three more sets will be availble tomorrow. Thanks
