Not to undo all the hardwork put forth in everyone's search for reverse threaded taps....but why not chuck the turnbuckle in a drill and slowly work the turnbuckle in and out of the ball cup. A drop or two of brearing oil....work slowly to keep the plastic cool. No money spent on tools if you already have a drill.

They are so tight it wont do much good. You need the tap to cut the inside to the right diameter.

Taps are cheap and everyone should have a couple in their pit box in the right threads for their cars.

Nice I ran similar set up ony mi4 the only difference I ran the esc behind the lipo , perfectly balanced. It was good for 13.5 and 17.5 blinky , boosted mod was borderline with run time but I was using just a 4,000 pack.

Its very balanced the way it is. L/R was within 10g and F/R was as well. This pack is 4600man

Two small questions for you: This track seems to have a good grip. Are you feeling your rear train slipping? Are you using long upper links in the rear?

im running standard setup except the front and rear spring i change to Hpi silver and the shock oil is 600cst.

geardiff oil is 2000...track traction is medium low...it's old abandon airport runway.

Why such heavy shock oil up front?

That was in fact the point of my question... I've never seen a such low cornerspeed... Did you try to use the inside hole on the rear knuckle?

It would probably lower the rear grip but it also will give you a better cornerspeed...

There are only a few, but that's one thing I'm quite sure about...

Yesterday I had my first race with my S1. Finished first in C-final

Not because of the S1 (drove amazingly!), but because Ive drove a zero-boost ESC in a boosted class.

The only option parts were 3racing Double-Joint-cardans, alloy-damper housings, steel pivot-balls and Tamiya ball-cups.

I had the cheapest car in the field, but was able to overtook some BD7s during a 7minute run...

Regards,

Chris

because i'm running ride 28r tyres in hot temp track...track temp is 60deg celcius..

i cant push much as i only have 1 set tyres for 3 amain final...

i vote to use 28r because it have better traction than other shore...like 32 n 36.

i flip the front and rear arm..to avoid hitting the wheel..im also running 2.5 toe in rear.
