This is true!

"Pro sales men" Haha
Anyone have a used one for sale! I already see guys selling there Xray T4's which gives me a bad taste for such a new car.

My wagon will actually be up for sale near the end of Feb, after the UK winter national. I've barely got the time or funds to race once a month at the minute and I know I won't be racing at all during the summer here due to work and studying.

Due to the price of the kit though it's almost not worth selling haha

But anyone thinking about buying one, they are definately worth it and have a fantastic price point

Thanks again Fuzzion!
So with the sway bars and hexs would the S1 be on par with the R1 for handling performance?
Cheers!

Hexes wont affect the handling if they're the same size as the stock ones. Obviously by running wider hexes you could increase the width of the car slightly. You may need different ones depending on wheels too - if I run stock hexes with my Muchmore wheels they are incredibly close to rubbing but with the alloy hexes they're fine. I think someone mentioned they had issues with wheels rubbing on the front arms, cant remember who though. It should be close to the R1, although it's difficult to say as in certain situations the S1 chassis might actually be a benefit. With the right bits you'll be able to get the same level of adjustability but you'll still have to take into account the fact that the R1 has more alloy and a different chassis/top deck.

I'd have to say to go with the R1 if you're racing a lot and want the better car, if you race less often and want something cheaper that's still very close performance wise after some upgrades, get the S1.

Is this the correct "Tamiya Low Friction Ball Cups"?
Do I need 1 or 2 sets?

Has anyone upgraded the shock set on their S1 to the R1 shocks? I'm looking for one red shock cap as one of mine split and I now have one leaky shock. Anyone?

I haven't, but I've got a set of TRF shocks as backup in case I want to start running them. Might be another option for you, although the colour will be wrong - they would be a bit smoother though. I'd just suggest buying a new set or some new hardware for your current shocks.

Exotek also make the shock caps in black, gun metal and orange that look nice AND they sell them individually.

True, I forgot about that. Another option then, black TRF shocks would be great.

Has anyone tried the Spec R 10th scale sedan body? What did you think? I have the Spec R mini sedan body and it works good! Just thinking about trying out the 10th scale one.

Does anyone know if the front body posts from another kit will fit the S1? I had another one snap last Sunday right at the base where it narrows and I need a replacement for this coming Sunday. I've ordered two sets of posts from TQ, but they won't get here in time.

Last Night At practice, I had a pro Xray driver Check my R1 and do a few laps with it, after four laps he was turning the same lap times as his T4. So it is defenitly possible that this car is A top contender. I wont mention any names here but, The Xray driver that set my car up for me Won the 17.5 Roar Carpet Nationals last year.
