Egr is somehow connected with Spec R, I believe there the same people, they moved there warehouse and are asking you to contact them by email to place an order. If you click on the item your looking for it should take you straight to there email. Beware, alot of items are still out of stock !

Thanks, I'm running 2.8 but would like to go lower. I just don't think it will happen. I can't find the spur or pinion needed to make it work. Currently I'm running 45 spur, 65 pinion.

What pitch gears are you using. I'm using 48p. I've found a 46t 48p pinion, but that's the biggest I can find.

What brand spur do you guys find fit the best. I've been using 3racing, but they require me to remove a small amount of plastic to make them fit.

yokomo and spec r gears fit the best in my experience. the spec r ones don't require any special shimming ect but don't come in *roar stock sizes* kimbrough spurs are a commonly used alternative as well for those super low ratios. 2.8.. sheesh.

Yup I run a kimbrough 88 tooth spur, 2.9 fdr on a outdoor asphalt track thats approx 130ft straight , I started out at 3.3 and dropped down till I wasnt getting left behind by the fast guys down the straight, my motor actually ran hotter than it does now at 2.9fdr.
