Interesting to see what's coming, rcmart told me the R2 is gona be discontinued, which I thought was a relatively new kit. Maybe there talking about there online site ? All I know is Spec R hasn't responded to the 2 emails Ive sent them over the last 2 weeks . Christian said he was putting a order in and possibly could get me the parts, maybe his contact is more reliable then the websites listed contacts.

Seems it was a SMART thing that I got a new set of belts "just in case"!!!!

Can't find any S2 (where I've looked) front belts to replace used stock.

Any other brands fit?

Will one of the Xray belts fit?

===

Asked this in the S2 thread also.

Hi Guys, last I heard, they are working on the new gen cars. From my understanding, the new cars will use R2 bulkheads. They said they would have more parts in October.

Front spool outdrive >> SPR-R1P304 (out of stock at Spec-R)

Broke two of these in one day, didn't hit anything!!!

A guy that I race with has a lathe in his garage, he made two alm one's for me.

He isn't a R/C Tech member, IF any one has an interest in these PM me for his contact info.

===

These are NOT like Xray's, you can use the stock mount screws, don't need drive shaft blades.

That's a lot of effort when there are steel ones available. Spec r makes some and I think rsd has some.
They last a very long time.

Default R1-R2 compatability

Will the R2/S2 shock towers fit on the R1? I was hoping to go w/ short shocks on my R1.
