There wouldn't be and video of this race would there? I'd love to see you in action.
I don't think there is video. My dad filmed a minute and a half of my first qualifier maybe I can try and post that?

I race with Jeff Jenkins and I must tell you guys after watching Jeff's car on his maiden racing runs, that car looks crazy good. I think this car has a lot of potential in the right hands. Good deal for a car.

This car really looks like a fantastic bit of kit for £200!
You think R1 stole the Kyosho's supension insert, but whom stole the gear diff which filled different deg. oil for fine adjustment in TC ???
My understanding is Spec-R introduce the first gear ( with oil filled ) for EP TC.

I think Serpent did actually with their gear diff for the S400. I don't think it matters though really.

gear diffs were all tc's had initially, ball diffs were the high performance upgrade! look at all the cheap tamiya kits, gear diffs.

The s400 was the most recent car to start the trend of using them again..

True but..... The s400 was the first one that had seals to use oil. All the other gear diffs before it could only use grease. But let's try to stay on topic and not ruin the thread please.

Blog updated again with more pictures, including build and after the electronics fitted.

Just needing to sort shells before I can test now

Was anyone able to look at the front/rear suspension mounts and see if they are the same with different markings or not? I'm not sure when they will start selling the aluminum parts So it's a bit concerning to have two front mounts lol.

Best thinkin can do is get a pair of calipers on them if your car isn't fully built yet.

Have you contacted spec R to get replacements?

By looking at them they look to be the same. But I would still have them send a replacement.the reason it would have a different part number is because of the laser engraving is different.

And Luke , I like your blogs good work!

Ditto on the blog Luke! It's good stuff man.

Thanks for looking for me Jeff! I Emailed Spec-R and they asked for pictures of the packaging issue sooo... I explained It's already assembled and I don't have the packaging issue to show them. It's a small issue and I'd hate to make a big deal about it over an $8 USD part. Hopefully their customer service see's it this way and can tell from my pictures that are timestamped less than 10 seconds apart that I've got two front and just ship me a replacement. Good First test to see how their support stacks up!

God knows if they'd just sell me the part I'd have 4 fronts and rears already and probably enough to build a second car from my parts stock.

I'm not sure how often you guys tap the boards, but how is the durability of the plastics compared to other cars?

Like I said in earlier post on my first test runs I had some hard hits and nothing broke so its just as durable as any other car I would imagine.

if my pinions get in this week before Thursday I'll give you a real durability report. My name on most other boards is CrashinDave for a reason lol.
