Hopefully they get shipped soon. I was hoping to have one in my hands by the 1st of October.

So does this new car use different front ride height spacers ? Looks like they're shimming at the carbon "arms" rather than under the plastic bulkhead.

It's a 5600 so standard pack. After looking at that pic I'm thinking my ESC will be next to the pod and my shorty pack in front of it, sort of a smaller version of my WGT cars lay out.

What retains the battery from sliding forward in the event of heavy front impact?

Funniest phrase of last years IIC: "Here's the leg that kicked your ass! " Which class are you going to put that beast into Kenny? Mine shows tomorrow. Planning a full day at Timezone on Sunday.

My rctech batteries don't have the shelf molded into them.
I would like to see a real plastic bumper on the main chassis, or maybe a piece of plastic angle mounted under the antenna on top of the upper plate that curls forward and over.

Receiver/speedo will be in front of the bat too. Set it up right and it shouldn't go anywhere.

Well remembering back to my EV10 days...I had a number of times where the battery broke through the holder and took out the receiver in front of it...But I suspect with today's LiPos being so much lighter that this will not be an issue. Plus you can always wrap a piece of strapping tape around it pretty easily.
