What is a good, strong microservo (not mini) that fits this car? I cant seem to find one with the right combination of fast/torque.

There is an airtronics one listed in the assembly manual. That is a pretty good one.

Hey anybody know if a futaba s9650 servo fits nice in the XTI...just trying to gather my electronics ...before the kit arrives ...thanks

the crc guys are outstanding about answering questions. i bumped mine because one slips by every now and again (in any thread), people are human.

While I'm sure you could some how make one work the car is not designed for that servo. However they do give you quite a few options which you can find on page 12 of the manual posted on there site.

Honestly the only logical servo to get for it currently is the Sanwa. The Futaba doesn't fit in the forward position, the Spektrum isn't currently available and the JR costs quite a bit more than the Sanwa. I have the Sanwa in mine and wish I had put it in my Xi instead of the more expensive JR.
