i personally do not know of a "kit" or "set" but all the optional springs are on the website. the kit comes with .50 springs on it so youll just need the .45, .55, and .60 springs for it and that should set you up.

I know the center and side springs come in kits, but I am pretty sure the front springs are sold only in pairs.

3390 - Front End Spring .45 mm
3392 - Front End Spring .50 mm
3394 - Front End Spring .55 mm
3396 - Front End Spring .60 mm

These are the old black springs as far as I know, but as I posted above, I think there are some new springs, I'm not sure if they are new numbers or?

I have always thought of it like the difference between measuring downstop height and droop over ride height. Pod Droop doesn't take ride height into account, chassis sag does.

Maybe I have it completely wrong, but that is how it makes sense to me.

anyone got advice on how to get more mid/late corner steering? it turns in good, and handles good.. but on sharp low speed corners, seems like i have to wait on the car before i can start to accelerate off the corner

pretty well stock box set, with slightly longer kingpin length, and stiffer damper fluid, and 2 caster shims at the back. and the cf upper suspension brace

What weight oil is included for the rear shock? I can't seem to find that info in the Manuel, I'm guessing its probably 30wt .

Dan22; 30wt.... it's about all they use, stock, race. Depending on your class, track smoothness, you can go up/down 5wt.

Jarrod; If you make it to the Gym next week, come see me: Brian Bodine. What class are you racing? Stock/Mod. Inline/trans? Tires? Anytime you have steering push, take the braces off, only run them if you are traction rolling or need to take that little "edge" off of steering. I found the trans chassis better for my style and it allowed me to move the battery fore/aft to get that weight bias effect. You can also do the same thing by putting the bullet plug fwd/rearward. If you are running stock, yel/black is going to be the combo to use about 90% of the time. If you want to get a bit more "racy" try graylow/chrome, you may need to CA the front side walls. You can also use yel/mag with CA. If you are kit, it came with .50 front springs. Try .45's. Your king pin should measure .400 to .404". Watch out for new and old front springs, they are silver and black, they are different lengths. Start with .400" front king pin with silver springs and .404" with black springs. You can vary from there, but I wouldn't go beyond .003"+. Then, what body? Audi R8C? That is the best for this car for stock. If you are going faster: Mohawk. Camber should be set about -.5*. I tell guys to use as much camber as you can until it traction rolls, then back it off. If your car is twitchy up front and pushy at the end, try less camber and more dope till it gets it right.

30wt is just the viscosity ....any manufacturer like Losi...associated..mugen...etc ...will all make 30wt.

The same "weight" from different brands can have very different cst ratings. Not all 30wt is the same viscosity. I assume that's why he was asking which brand.

if i need 30wt oil i go buy a bottle that says 30wt on it ....i dont bring it to a lab and test all manufacturers 30 wt.......30 wt is 30 wt if there off between different brands a bit its not gonna make a huge difference.

No need to take them to a lab. It's written on the bottles. 30wt from one brand is 300cst, but 30wt from another brand is 400cst. You seriously believe there's no noticeable difference between 300cst and 400cst?

Most 30 wt is fairly close but there are some that are way different. I believe the old Serpent 30 wt was more like 50 in most other brands.

Just pick a brand you like and stick with it. I use pretty much all Losi oils.
