How long of a sensor wire do you need in that configuration?

Anyone foresee a problem with the rear ride height adjusting being knocked out of whack if a hard hit occurs? Not sure what the pod locks into, figured since a few people have one, they could give a little insight into this.

I'm really considering ordering the sideways battery kit before my kit even shows up. I run similar gear and the HW 1s looks like total pig with the battery running up the center.

There will be a conversion not only for the XI, but the XL and some Gen X's as well being announced very soon.

no , no. the hobbywing 1s IS A PIG .. I'm surprised you guys are squeezing it into the new chassis as I had a hard enough time getting everything neat in my old Xi with the HW 1s..

A pig it is. I order the transverse mod yesterday. I'll go out on a limb and admit that it's likely a normal dude running in a slow class wouldn't tell the difference between the battery configurations. Transverse leaves a nice area for a super clean HW 1s install. The car will be fast either way and for some reason I prefer a visually appealing chassis/electronics.

Thanks Kenny! I do my best not to hit things, but between my lack of practice and sometimes having new guys running on a smaller track, our cars get take a bit of abuse if you know what I mean
