I've done that and have been through my share of the CRC kit oil. I'm curious so I can make adjustments in oil as I didn't think there were any other oils offered by CRC. Not knowing the brand or CsT makes it a little harder to go up or down a known amount. But you're right, calling CRC is a great idea to get help. John always answers my questions.

The kit shock oil in the Xti kits is Losi 30wt. That should take away any unknowns so you can test using the same brand oil.

thanks brian..

today i picked up some gears.. and got my rollout to 107.9.. 56/75.. biggest i could go with with the spur.. smallest the shop here had..

also, put it back to the 5 deg blocks, and shortened the pin length..

picked up another set of the grey-low/black tires, and a set of front chrome tires to try.

cant wait till the weekend..i think its ready to go..just need to set it back to blinky, and tweek it.. dont have the equipment here in my dorm to do that..haha..

Default upper pod plate question

does anybody know if the #1762 extended upper pod plates (the ones that have the longer tab where the top end of the shock attaches) will fit on the new XTI slider pod?

Try my set up a few posts above.

The first race day the car was too aggressive, with the set up on there now it's smooth and easy to drive.

Do you have the roll center spacers? That will calm the car down. It should decrease your front camber gain.

If you are running the same tires I listed, try chrome fronts.
Those had a slight push to them when I tried them.

One other thing I forgot to list, I used orange side springs.
Those are 2 steps softer then the kit white.

To be honest I'm not sure who made them.
I borrowed them from a friend who has had them in their oval box for years..lol..

I originally tried Assoc. springs, but they were too soft.
