Default Servo

Andrew

I found the Sanwa servo at Apex Models. It was expensive but they shipped it right away to the US with a tracking number

Great service and communication

Regards Greg G

the spacers under the c plate are for ride height adjustment. the more shimms, the lower the ride height.

Default xti main chassis

i cracked my main chassis right where the front body post mounts on both sides. what i did to protect the front chassis more was i took a slapmaster 1/12 bumper and mounted it on the car i then press it tightly to the chassis i then traced the outline of the front chassis, i then shaved down the bumper so that the front of the chassis is flush with the bumper. the front edge of the chassis is protected real nice. let me know what you think of this idea.

With the bumper mounted that way watch to see that it doesn't deform over time and begin to drag. I stopped mounting it that way because after a few hits it bent down and wold drag the carpet. I couldn't figure out for a couple of runs why the car was so loos off power.

E-mail sent. Thanks Tim. I have been considering finding an RCTech member in Europe to purchase and re-send the servo to the US if I can't find any other options.

That is what happened to my 1/12th with a Slapmaster bumper. I have bought a piece of 1/8" Lexan and I am going to make a bumper out of that. I did the same with 3/16" Lexan on my WGT car and it works fine.

they all deform over time what i do is take a heat gun and heat the bumper and smooth it out. it works
