What is a good, strong microservo (not mini) that fits this car? I cant seem to find one with the right combination of fast/torque.

There is an airtronics one listed in the assembly manual. That is a pretty good one.

It does not fit mounted forward.

While I'm sure you could some how make one work the car is not designed for that servo. However they do give you quite a few options which you can find on page 12 of the manual posted on there site.

Here's a link to the manual http://www.teamcrc.com/crc/downloads...rts-final2.pdf

Page 12 for all your servo mounting needs

Honestly the only logical servo to get for it currently is the Sanwa. The Futaba doesn't fit in the forward position, the Spektrum isn't currently available and the JR costs quite a bit more than the Sanwa. I have the Sanwa in mine and wish I had put it in my Xi instead of the more expensive JR.
