I just got my XTI WC. I have a few questions maybe you guys can help me out.

1. Is there any tips on assembling it? Or things I need to watch out for?
2. Which optional parts is a must get?
3. If you guys have been to Tqracing in Chino, what's a good set up there?
4. I will start with blinky 17.5t with Reedy M3 1s. What would be the roll out?

Start at 98mm rollout and 40*. Your goal is around .4 fade

Must have the front brass pivot balls(use a little of the losi smart diff grease for lube on the king pins)

When assembled, Make sure the front king pin falls under its own weight and there is no bind on the front end at all.

Put on tweak station often, make sure front droop is around .25mm. No more. This will change as the springs wear.

Make sure pod is always level when ready to race.

And hold on, this car is freakin fast!!

Anyone know where to find a pdf of the XTI WC manual?

Also what is the main chassis part number? Cannot find it.

Thank you for the tips. So only brass pivot balls are needed huh? I like this car already

You're also going to want to get a set of ride height shims for the front end. Without those your options will be limited on tire size.

I also recommend the aluminum rear standoffs for the tweak plate, but they are far from a required purchase. They do help a little bit with reducing flex if you are going to run the battery forward and I believe they cost like $2-3.

Other then that you are good to go!

Will do. Thanks again. Since I'll be building the kit this weekend there will probably be more questions coming.

I would recommend the front arm brace.

Only stuff i added to mine was aluminum crossbrace standoffs, shock extender which makes droop adjustment easy.
Brass balls i have in mod car but i never bothered for the stock car.
Im also not running the brace with purple stripe tires. Basically the car is kit stock.
If grip was way higher id get the upper arm spacers and the crossbrace but i usually take away camber rather than put it on. Crc car doesnt seem to need anything to be fast in stock.

For what it's worth this isn't really a part that most of the CRC drivers other then Knapp run in 17.5. If you're running 13.5 or faster then it's a decent thing to have.

I'll be getting brass pivot ball, ride height shims and aluminum standoff for now. Btw what's the part number for the standoff? Also, is Losi smart diff lube what everyone using for the king pins? Or does it depend on the track condition?
