Default New to ON ROAD, Recommendations

I am on to my next project... Did a buggy, did a truck, now I want to build an on-road ripper, but know nothing about this style car.

What do I need to know? Anyone who follows my threads knows I like to make things way too powerful and go way faster than they should. Not looking to race, just burn and turn. I run nothing lower than 3S and am a Castle die-hard.

Any suggestions on a 1/10 scale vehicle to start with? Or perhaps someone has a beat-up roller they want to get rid of? 2WD only.

Go with 4wd, shaft driven. Speed freaks have had good luck with the TC4 chassis, durable and easy to work on with a big aftermarket following. To fit 3s in most chassis will require some work on your end unless you are ok with using battery tape.

2wd will be very hard to control powerwise and limits tires options (havent seen many rubber tire pan car options) and packaging for a battery will be fun to say the least.

Totally ok with doing some custom work, what's the biggest, baddest ESC/MOTOR combo I can throw in there?

hey
if your looking for unsensored power id go with the biggest castle creation system you can find
but for sensored id go with a tekin rs pro and maybe like a 3.5 sensored motor if your looking for mega uncontrollable speeds

Corally got some mad power claims to their motors. 2hp burst and such.
