Hobbyking brushless motors?
 

Okay in case Hobbyking isn't well received here, I'm sorry.
But since I don't see anything about it, I'm quite curious about how good their motors and ESCs are. Due to budget constraints I actually ordered their 9200kv motor and 100A combo.
Does anyone have any experience with their products in general?
Also, how strong is a 9200kv motor? I understand it's way above what a 'normal' person would get, but, just to fill my curiosity, how strong is it?

That is equivalent to about a 3.5t sensored motor. I'm not sure what appliction you will use it for, but that is probably overkill to say the least.

I'm thinking of using it as a TC engine by limiting the throttle limit, and high speed runs when I feel like it.
And yes it's a 3.5t :)

What Holly said...Overkill.
6.5T motor with the V3 120amp esc is a great combo for TC.
Easy setup and esc and program box can be updated.
Then no limit to max throttle.
It also depends on track.

The only reason I'm taking that 3.5T is that I can do high-speed runs when I feel like it. I'm now in a way quite worried about the 100A ESC probably not being able to last too long. :(

If you have good batteries it should be brutally fast. Just be sure to keep the temperature in check and it should work fine for blasting around and showing off. You can tone it down a little with timing and throttle limit settings easily.

Yeah that's my plan. I'm using 50c 2s for now. Gonna upgrade later (:
