Default Hobbywing v2.1 or v3?

I have been using a few v2.1 for a long time and see they are lack of punch/break. In fact, they are old. Now thinking to go for the same v2.1 or v3. I don't need all those more confusing setting in v3. Just focus on the performance and the esc temperature the cooler the better. Does v3 has better performance over v2.1? Proof of better lap time?

Whilst the V2.1 is still a very good speedy, the V3 is all round a better ESC. Runs cooler, has better hardware, and the software (despite the extra options) is personally easier to use.
You mention the V3 has all the confusing options, but they are just that, options. Once set, a lot are set and forget, but they are there if you need/want

The v3 is currently driven by two of the best drivers in the world. Atsushi Hara and Andy Moore both drive the v3. If the v3 was good enough for them to switch sponsorships, then I'm sure it has everything you'd ever need in a speedo.

thx guys.

I believe the sponsored driver's esc use better material then the one can buy on street. But anyway, if it is cooler then I will go for it. One nice feature is I don't need to remove the rx plug for programmer.
