Serpents are serious cars for serious competition. What's it worth to you? You decide. The Serpent is twice the price but its twice the car.

Besides the biggest cost in electric GT8 is the electronics regardless of what car you put it into. However the Serpent allows you to run dual 2s lipos that you may already have for your 1/10 TCs vs. having to buy new 4s lipos which are quite costly.

when you start comparing apples and oranges there are no arguments. all I can tell you is you can buy 4 cars and electronic for the price of 1 DM1 from china... if pricing is so important why even bother with the DM1... hell you can probably buy a container for the price of a Serpent 811....

OK

Ordered the Tekin TT2310 RX8 ESC w/ T8 4030 2650KV combo and a coupe of sets of PMT 06 rally tires.

What recommendation on Lipos? Size and discharge? Bargains as well as the best?

Thanks again in advance.

Dean.

I don't think you caught my facetiousness on the retort "no thats for the whole thing" c'mon that was funny.. I do agree with Yr4, the layout much more well thought out except what seems to be putting larger motors in it. I wanted to start racing the gts this summer but thats past. You being in Turkey Toughbeard should get in some good racing and reviews while I shovel snow. I was just wondering what justified a $350 price increase for this model. But in thinking about it, its not so much this cars expensive as the ofnas are just dirt cheap. Happy racing guys

811 GT is more expensive as its a small class at the moment. so the demand is not very much so that actually causes the prices to go up as well.

Today we are finishing the 2012 Season and we will start the GT sereies.

We will also have a special GT class, the GT24. Which is a 24 hour series thats devided in to 6 4 hour team races. I thing the GT will grow as its very suitable for uprepared surfaces like parking lots as well.

Keep in touch maybe we will see you in one of our races
