Not so expensive in the uk, not showing as in stock yet though. But sort of ties up with the pricing Hiro mentioned

I have a tcx, but do the same parts for the tcxx tamiya dual cardon joint work for the tcx? Also what FDR are you guys shooting for in 21.5? What kind of gearing to achieve that FDR?

[Edit] Medium grip asphalt medium size track with two long straights, and technical turns in the middle.

Make sure your front outdrives have a 2.0mm slot or use blades. The Tamiya dcj has 2.0mm pins. I run gear diffs front and rear that can be configured for using blades or not by changing the outdrives. The TCX and TCXX geometry is identical with only a few minor tweaks. Same arms, hubs, blocks, bulkheads, etc.

If it's blinky 21.5 then you will be somewhere the 3.5 FDR neighborhood. A 96t spur is a jack of all trades if you will. It allows you to achieve gearing for 25.5 to 17.5 motors. A 53t pinion will get you a 3.53 FDR. If it's boosted 21.5 I have no idea! The boost died here long ago. lol

The Cyclone TC also works great in VTA and its has great parts commonality with the TCXX.

Ya, I know, I'd buy another tcxx before a cyclone tho.

It's the shaft drive that I want. My Pro 4 was awesome back in the day.
