Have high hopes for it, as my tamiya RM-01 drives great and really like driving it but due to the tire issues i had to buy another 1/12th car.
Will be looking for a good setup to start with.
Should i start with the setup of the manual and go from there or am i better off with another setup?

Enjoy your new car, with front tires that wear down to the rim

Default Spur gear wobble?

Is anyone finding that the spur gear has tendency to wobble side to side? I've just built my new 12R5.2 and the spur gear moves from side to side? and its got me stumped on how to fix it?

Cheers Jackson

Mine is on the way, but with my F1 cars we have the same thing about the spur.
it's normal to have a wobble for my F1 cars so i think it should be the same with the 5.2.

Hi guys,I'm new to pancars, race onroad F1 and offroad normally.
Few questions,I want to know if the CRC side spring kit fit the 5.2 alloy spring mounts?

Also,is there a CRC center spring kit? And would you know if they will fit a Serpent WGT S100LT center shock? Are 1/12th and 1/10th pancar centre springs a generic size,I.E do they all fit each other?

Thanks for any help.

or do i just buy the AE centre springs

Hey Peli,

The CRC side springs should fit on the AE holders, if not use a dab of super glue. the thing to know is that the CRC springs are progressive, and the AE ones linear, and that will have an effect on handling.

Centre springs tend to be the same diameter, but I don't know if there is a CRC kit.

crc3299 is the encore shock spring set, same dimension but different color coding as AE's vcs shock springs. they will not fit the serpent shock. the serpent shock is shorter and larger diameter.

current 1/10 cars are using the same shock as the 1/12. but older 1/10 will have a 'macro' shock instead of the current 'micro' shocks.

i haven't tried to fit the older 1/10 springs on the serpent shock, worth trying it is a nice shock but serpent's spring color coding is inconvenient.
