Smallest servo for 1/12

Hi.
Looking for the smallest servo possible that still is good for high level racing. What servos can fit in a reversed position in between the front wheels?
I don't mind cutting of tabs. Is there an airtronics version of the Sanwa Srg-hr?

I have a KO 951 between my front suspension, but I am running a Speedmerchant Rev 7 with the old skool front end. I had to cut the tabs off.

Wow. That's a heckuva servo. 66 oz of pull and 0.12 sec at 6v. And tiny.

Thanks to Peter Robinson for this one. The Sanwa version has even better specs , along with a higher price tag + shipping from overseas

I will be using the Futaba s9650

The specs on the Sanwa/Airotronics are very impressive. (I believe they're both built by the same company) Correct me if I'm wrong.

I still like the JR Z3650, but I believe its slightly heavier than both, a little less torque, and a little slower.

correct, except the jr is a bit faster than the Airtonics at least.

The Airtronics servo seems interesting. Going to design my own inline chassis for my xray X12. Just got my hands on a Tekin rs pro speedo. Smallest there is :)

Run on lowgrip carpet so one chassis will be only 2mm thick and the other 2.5mm. Going to do some experimentation.

Is the tekin smaller Han the viper vtx1?

WRR 08-12-2012 09:06 AM

I think the footprint is smaller with Tekin.
