Buy the black bladders, the pink ones are terrible and don't seat well at all... Drilling a small hole on the top cap for 0 rebound is a great tuning option as well. Love running mine dead, indoor or out it seems sucked to the floor.

has anyone done a 40T gear diff and spool conversion on their BD7 2016?

Skimming through the BD8 thread, the Bulk head braces are different on the 40 tooth set up. So if you run them front and rear currently that's going to be another $50-60 for them.
Raising the bulkhead for clearance is also key.. still trying to figure out all these new combos..
pitch system, pitch system minus rod, RTC (mixing and matching between parts in kit and parts needed to buy) , new bulk head spacers / 40t diff gears So much to try and do on a yok these days :P

Can confirm for sure the SLF II's are a shorter shock 50mm off the top of my head. Believe they have more volume (for a small shock) in the shock body to make up for the distance change. Team drivers use to switch towers and longer shocks for asphalt at times from memory.
