Cool

RV completely dominant thru all 4 rounds of Qualifying

Looks like Black Beauty kit, with a few hop-ups and standard, not short shocks

What does mounting the body forward like this do on the bd7?

Front 2x15g weights, electrics mounted towards the front + body mounted more to the front. Seems as much load to the front wheels as possible.

Body forward, more steering
Weight forward, easier to drive normally

Several times, I had the car spinning all of a sudden in a turn.
Opened the rear gear diff and found out that the shims were coning.
Anyone had the same issue?
What's the solution?

Tx in advance for your insights!

Volker is also running the steering brace at the front and screwed into the top deck. That would tame the steering the steering down also.

Hey all,

What brand of springs is everyone using for asphalt racing? Been hearing that the Yokomo springs are best used for indoor racing?

Just got my first Yokomo and was wondering what to buy for it? Seen some people using HPI Silver springs?

Thanks for your time.

He would most likely be running a 5000 mah battery as well. He was running that at Yatabe. Said it had better side to side balance. Maybe that's why he is running the front weights.

We mostly swap between Yokomo and HPI here in Australia.

Are these the HPI springs you run?
