What the advantage of having shorter shocks and lower shock towers?

With shorter shocks and tower you have a low centre of gravity on the car which makes the car stable.

Good luck with that. Yokomo was complete garbage in their early years. Pretty much got run from this country. They figured it out before they left but it was too little, too late.

The cars were always great, support was always insufficient. Yokomo USA did a terrible job with service and parts support, but the cars were competitive on every level.

Back when foam tire racing on carpet was big I remember yokomo being the hot lick car. Back in the YR4 - YR4M2 days. Support always sucked but I guess it wasn't a big deal...

I hated my 4WD off road Yoke, but that was 25 years ago. I love their touring cars and their drift stuff was the best unti HPI knocked them off that pedestal. It's still awesome gear. Great looking bodies and rims also.

Also I was going to say, I guess the BD6 didn't perform to well to get canned before it got to market.

Seriously, this car is amazing looking and would love to drive one! I have always loved the Yokomo cars, but they are just so hard to get in the US...
