Tell me more about your T-Shox. Do you still use them? What setup.

To be honest with you, I was underwhelmed by a lot of things yesterday. The 4 traction rolls in the main were particularly alarming.

When the car is right, it's the best car I've ever driven by a long shot. Unfortunately it's been hard to get it right consistently.

I'm wondering how much of that is shocks. It seems to be very reactive to shock/spring changes. I also don't think vented shocks were better. I preferred how the car felt with some rebound.

whats happening is when you tighten the left side, the spur shaft isn't exactly perpendicular, so effectively you are screwing it in on a slight angle...

to get the screw out, you have to hold down the spur shaft with pliers, and screw it out the screw.

once you screw it out and attempt to remount the spur, if you notice any resistance in the screw before fully being screwed in, its at an angle, and you will have the same issues...

make sure you shims are flush to the shaft ends...I noticed different spurs have slight different widths, so the supplied shims dont go flush to the ends of the shaft with different spurs. They must be flush.

follow this, and you will be fine.

Yup picked up some nice stainless steel screws today ...threaded both ends a touch at first then fastened then at the same time and just left them snug and did it about 10 times and not one issue ....so I will just check them after each run and should be fine.

Really nice car! How does it compare to AE TC6.1 WC? Appreciate any information, as I am interested in an additional car.

Thinking about selling my bd7 and parts. I have enough parts to almost build another car.

Default suspension carriers???

Ok I am about fed up.
Which suspension carriers are needed to make this thing driveable--- competitively?

It sure is not the kit ones.

Is it the Umino carpet set up ones or something different?

Not having the support of Yokomo is not doing this any favors.

I admit it seems like it could come to life--- with the right changes but I have not found the right ones as yet.

very little positive about this car at this point.

A couple runs but not up to speed because it just won't take it!
Every pack another isssue to fix/address prior to another attempt.

Maybe this needs to be added to the growing for sale group. in fact I think that is the best course at this point.

Really rather dissapointing!
But I guess I expected too much from them.

Regards,
Darrald
