Was it 1.5mm difference? I use a Yokomo droop/ride height gauge but gradation is in 1's, no 0.5 steps
You know, I'm not really sure. If uminos setup is the "ideal" droop and the difference is only 1.5 I'm way off from where he is. I'll see if I can bum a droop gauge to measure from the pins or I guess I could just use a caliper. I wonder where they are measuring on the pins.

I remember reading somewhere that the pin droop is taken at the center of the pin and that measurement basis is thickness of arm divided by 2. Or something like that. Was just too complicated for me if it's a bad day at the track so I stuck to conventional measuring. What sucks is most of Umino's setups are pin measurements. Haha

Anyone aware of other bd7 forums? Even if they are not in English?

It'll be the same as the HB guys do it. Chassis flat on your board, measure from the board to the centre of the hinge pin with a steel rule. No need to measure wishbone thickness or do any calculations, very simple really.

I'm having trouble with the spur pulleys ...i guess I'm over tightening because when I go to take out the spur the right screw comes out but the left screw just keeps spinning with the whole unit ....should the screw on the left not be tightened too much or am I doing something wrong .

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong...I'm screwing both screws in each end as per instructions but when I go to change spurs as I unscrew the left side the right side screw comes out but the left wont come out ...I only drove this car one race weekend and love it so far but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong on these spur pulley screws.

I've replaced these 2.5mm screws a bunch of times already. These lay shaft screws have to be one of the weakest part of this car.

A local guy(the only other bd7 guy) had this issue as well. I'm not really sure why or how, but I haven't had it at all.
