Do you think it will be the same Chassis plate on the 2015 and 2016? it does not look any different

It seems that the chassis plate is different. Some wrote a pages back that the conversion kit includes:

Conversion Kit:
- New Main Chassis
- New Upper Deck
- New Shock Tower F/R
- NewShort shock set
- New Front Pulley
- New Gear Differential Unit
- New Aluminum Bulk Head A/B/C
- New Aluminum Bulk Head Cap A/B/C
- New Aluminum Motor Mount
- New Drive Pulley
- New Direct Main Gear Adapter
- New Main Gear Shaft
- New Belt F/R
- Aluminum Battery Holder
- Body Post

Since the conversion kit is supposed to work with all previous editions, it needs to have a chassis plate included, too, doesn't it? Michal from Mibosport/Yokomo Europe told me it would be basically almost a full kit "minus the plastic parts" (not sure about links, bearings, etc.)

in the part list page they list the chassis part as B7-00215 which is the 15 chassis,

Its possible they didn't modify the chassis for the 16 bulkheads.

I have been told the normal shocks are still better on bumpy tracks then the big bore and looks like there is new shock towers to run the normal shocks

B7-01716 for the front and B7-01816 for the rear.

Its good they included the DH front drive shafts.

Now the question is if the new front pulley/diff has a different number of teeth which would affect the internal drive ratio. A good thing if they made it smaller as it would help with stock classes. That might explain the new front/rear belts included in the conversion kit.

All the extra comments suggest the idea is if you have a 2015 car, you can get the conversion kit and you will basically have two cars for different conditions. Not a bad deal and a good strategy for Yokomo as this might eek some money from people who otherwise would not upgrade to the new kit.

I think the short shock upgrade existed in the past as an option.

Internal ratio is staying at 2. 17T pulley and 34T diff/spool.

Will be interesting to see if the older 20T pulleys will fit with the new motor mount and topdeck, that will take it out to 1.7, but the other issues is the pulleys then might not fit.

Well, if the chassis plate is the same as the 2015, maybe we can still use the 2015 alu chassis?
