always blowing on the motor. There is not enough ventilation under a body to have extraction work well.

Thanks guys, i'll make some changes n hopefully cut out some weight. Just a question, how do you mount the fan onto the chassis without a bracket? Just using some servo tape? Will it fall off in a crash event?

id too like to know this is have so wrecked 2 fans when crashing as they tend to fly off

Use 3M scotch heavy duty exterior double sided tape, and clean the surfaces with an alcohol wipe before applying,
I have actually broken fans trying to remove them with this tape, its super strong.

I use a bracket works fine and doesn't have much weight.

Yep tried that tonight at a club meeting, started out with a yellow spring in the front, went back to a pink, blue in the rear. 42.5wht alround, but was leaning the rear shocks over to soften the rear so it didn't break away. But that car turns in a hell of a lot. But drives really nice

Does the short shock conversion kit B7-2014SS fit the 2015 model? I want to know if the shock towers fit the 2015 BD7.

You might want to get a second opinion on that. I remember trying to fit my '14 Short Towers on my '15 with no success.

Now a '15 part Short Tower on a '15 yes.

You bring up a good point
The B7-2014SS14 Short Shock conversion set does not have towers
And the Yokomo parts guide is a bit confusing on that

Anyone here using the yokomo suspension block spacer kit instead of shims? I have to manually set the slop in the arms no matter what shims I put in.

It's like the screw holes in the chassis are larger than the screw so you have to tighten it down in the perfect spot. This is on the ff and rr suspension mounts. Not sure if that's how it comes as I got it used. It seems like the spacer kit with the bridged spacer would be easier to set. Any feedback is appreciated.

The B7-2014SS part number comes with the short shocks, and short towers suitable for the 2014 spec car.

The 2015 towers are to accommodate the attachment without the locating pin feature that are on the 2014 car.

If you purchase the B7-2014SS set... use the shocks, toss the towers and get:

B7-01715S Short Shock Tower 2015 Front
B7-01815S Short Shock Tower 2015 Rear

Otherwise you can purchase B7-2014S which is just the SLF Short shocks with no towers and purchase the 2015 towers.
