They said something similar when they came to Australia for the FEMCA titles, but here we are a year later and still no Yokie disty even though a few local importers were getting gravel rash on their knees trying to secure it.

Hey Brad
There is a Yokomo "disty" in Australia its just that they dont Import the high end car they only bring in drift cars and such that regularly sell. I contacted them when I was getting My WX they said they could get it but the delivery time and price where crazy. So i got mine from Japan.

Fom what I heard there is a new Yokomo north american Distributor.

there are just on the ground floor. and ironing out major details. How do I know. I just know. I'm not privilege to give this info out with out there ok. I also heard they're also going to be pushing the r12 too.

the BD5 was very nice and the BD7 looks like a game changer. would like to see a photo of the bottom of the chassis.

Ummm anyone looking for a slightly used t3-11 cheap.

How do you figure? Looks just like every other car out there. Don't get me wrong, it probably will be the best or at least top three but there is nothing "game changing" about it at all. The Chinese wont even need to re-tool anything to copy it, they already make all the parts for other cars.

A lot of the parts are new to the BD7, Chinese have only had the pictures so long

Yes but there is nothing significantly different than any other car. To be a "game changer" it would not only need to be the best but also be different enough that everyone else would have to do a major re-design to copy it. So all X-ray or Tamiya or whoever would need to do to effectively copy this is measure the suspension geometry and adjust their car to suit. They probably wouldn't even need to make new parts to do it.

Now if something like an Awsomatix starts dominating, that would be a game changer as everyone would have to radically change their designs to make something comparable.

Winning every single race where the car touches a piece of carpet is a game changer, and that's what Yokomo has done. Complaining about how it looks is dumb.

Apparently the only things that are the same between this car and the old car is a few of the plastic parts (arms and other small bits). Everything else is new...so it is a big change based on the redesigns. Is it a game changer...who knows, but it certainly looks like one of the nicest kits on the market.
