To be honest, I am a little baffled as to why people are breaking the. I'm still on my original BD7 13' DCJ's which came with the upgrade pack (2 years ago?). I can't remember who it was, but they mentioned specifically to rebuild them once you open them up from the package. Cleaning, and re-greasing them were integral to extending their lifespan. I took his word for it and (knock on wood) I haven't had any problems since.

I run 13.5 boosted on carpet.

Both of mine failed at the end of the dogbone, both left and right went within 2 race meetings of each other, only after a couple of months use. And both went accelerating on the main straight.
I have been running Roche ones in both my old 14 and the 15 and after 8 months still going strong.

My Yokomo C clip versions are doing great. I haven't broken them since I replaced the old versions. I haven't broken them since I replaced the old version over a year ago. I also oil them instead of grease every day of running.

Mine failed the exact same place, except mine failed when going round a hairpin and it looks like the end of the dogbone just sheared off under full lock

I have the radtec dcj ' s front and back which I think are the same as roche. You can order them directly through radtec with paypal on their website. It's hong Kong but shipping usually isn't bad.

I am breaking the new c-clip version and I'm running 10.5t so there is a bit more rorque than the 13.5t. I oil them every race too.

Does anybody know if the 2015 one piece motor mount is a direct fit on the 2014 chassis?

Thanks

id like to see the servo box opened. great to see folks getting rid of servo mounts and all of the inaccuracy they cause.
