I do too but only on tracks with boards. Only downside is that you can't run the yokomo front weights if you need too because the servo saver is rather large. Hands down on open tracks, the aluminum horn is king.

Is this on carpet tracks aswell? I just had a 3 day long event I raced in and the car felt a bit nervous. The fastest lap I did the whole weekend was a 12.6 and the fast guys were running like 11.7's. I even had the fastest guy there run my car and he could only pull 12.9's and also agreed the car felt nervous. I'm going to start by putting softer springs on but I thought heavier diff oil might be good aswell. If 5k is what everyone is running than I might try that.

What is your complete setup on the car?

Everything is stock including oils, camber, toe, and ride height is 5 and just barely over 5 in the rear. The only thing I've played around with was the shock position in the towers. The car had excellent grip just didn't feel right on my conditions. The track I run on has 5 rolls of carpet so its pretty large and has medium traction on club nights.

I would probably invest in some different toe block for the front of the car, as well as possibly some blue springs for the front of the car
and change to a harder diff oil,

there are a few new stock setups for carpet for the 2015, like

What body are you running? The Mazdaspeed6 body calms the car down a lot compared to the LTCr body.

Default 2014 vs 2015

Has anyone run the 2014 and 2015? is there a noticeable diffeence between the 2 cars? for medium to high grip carpet what toe block combinations are people running? I know it's a driver dependent question but in general which are people using, I'm trying to avoid buying all the possible toe block combinations if possible. Thanks in advance.

Blue springs all round work well for me but without other setup adjustments they may make the car more nervous.

Are you using the lower ball studs on the upper inner links? I would suggest raising the rear roll center and using thicker diff oil, 3k would be a good place to start.

If the car still feels nervous mid corner increase the ackerman by reducing the shims on the bell crank. If the car feels nervous at initial turn in raise the front roll center.

Haha unfortunately for me I didn't know this information so I bought the LTCr when I bought the car. Thanks for your help.

From my limited experience, 2015 is easier to drive at the edge but I only drove it on carpet.

Standard Toe blocks included work well everywhere with the standard arms. The other blocks you see in majority of setups are 44.2 FF block which adds arm sweep and 45.7 RR block which decreases rear toe to 2.5 deg. I think everyone has those in their parts box.
