Interesting...
New purple TC spring.
I wonder if this is Yokomos take on a HPI silver (going by the wire diameter and coil count)?

For example always popular Yoke blues.
And here direct from Yokomo it's listed as a MR4-TC spring, the same as the regular springs.
Either way, it would be interesting to get them on the spring tester!

Tyre preparation
Hi,
I am new to this tyre preparation thingy and would like to get a general idea how to start, which tyre additive to try with and how long to put it in tyre warmer? I run on hot temp track with medium traction. Sometime we put sugar water for the race.
Even with the recent EURO championship, this is also an important/key factor to the team driver successful run or not. From the interview with top dirver, tyre prep is key fctor now rather than setup. What do you guys think? I know using the correct tyre are key factor to car setup but with controlled tyre, tyre prep could have advantage.
Thx & Rgds

After talking with one pirelli F1 engineer he told me that we should warm the tyres more or less at the same temperature that they are going to work, so the ideal is to measure Tª at the end of a run and work in that level. Now I am working in around 55C and saucing around 20-25 minutes
What additive, that's a tricky question, I don't try a lot, but sometimes a light one (lrp carpet in example) works nice in some tracks, others you prefer a thicker one (mr33 i.e.). Some additives are for low temps, Solaris B i.e. others for high temps...
for me the better formula is ETS formula, all with same tyre, same additive.
This year EUROS track is a bit especial as the asphalt is a bit tricky and track temps was in some moments quite high, more than 50C, some lower. Friday was very tricky, the track temps droop more than 10C from Q1 to Q2 as the evening got cloudy
regards
