The car is a lot different than the Xray. I find that with this car you have to let the car come around. With my Xray I had to drive the car very hard to be fast. This car not so much. It was 58 degrees out and the asphalt was very cold I was running a really basic setup. I found one thing that I have already modified to get better grip in the rear. On the turn buckle in the rear I switched to an open end on the outside by the wheel I added a 3mm shim to raise it up. I kept the inside at the normal level. They were at the wider setting.

I was running a 4.5 in mod boosted and the car was very very fast. I will be switching to carpet over the next few weeks. I will get something setup and update everyone as things progress. Using the stock parts from the kit I have gone though a front carrier and rear carrier. The car is a lot more fragile than the Xray/AE. So make sure you order spares. As well make sure that you battery holder as well if you order a kit. I have all the graphite stuff of order for carpet season and will go from there. So if you get annoyed by replacing a part here or there do not buy this car. If you are ok with changing a part here or there and you want something super smooth to drive its good.

i use everything standard. Its already good enough..maybe on high traction condition, graphite parts will be better

Here is my basic Setup for high grip carpet! Maybe raise the rollcenter with 0,5mm shims at the innerside all around if the car is to planted! ;-)

Or try 500cst oil in the shocks ;-)

To use two o rings in the shocks do you just put the thin bushing in the bottom and put two of the good o rings on top? Why is two better? Also are the stock pistons 3x1.1 or 3x1?

the movement of the shock-shaft will be more smooth and free! ;-)

And if you want 1,1mm shock-pistons, you must drill a 1,1mm hole in the 1mm original shock pistons!

I compared the original shock with this modified shock (as the teamdrivers run it), much smoother suspension!

Regarding the diff height, is the low setting with the thick side pointed up or down? And what will this do?

You have to point the thick side up if you want to run the diff height low! ;-)

That will give the car a lower center of weight and i think you should always take the center of weight as low as possible!!! And the Diff and Spool movement will affect the driving of the car if they sit higher!!!

Max teeth is around 147. 99/48 was as much as I could fit today. I'm really loving this car.

Actually from what I´ve understanded, diff height affects more through the angle of the driveshafts. Driveshafts always try to straighten and the more you have upward angle on the bone towards wheel, the more driveshafts push the suspension down to the ground adding grip. So if you run diffs in up position, you have less on power grip, but also less chassis movement regarding to your throttle input.
