They will not fit. Tamiya is 4.8 mm, Yokomo is 1mm bigger diameter

Shock rebound on a tight twisty asphalt track, what should it be set at? Or is it more a personal preference? At the moment, my shocks have 0 rebound. Just wondering what the rest of you are running for outdoor asphalt?

Anyone put longer links (front or rear) on the diff holders? my ball stud drives into the plastic diff bearing holder. any suggestions?

I asked the same thing few posts back

Either the set-up was filled out wrong or the car on the picture is not the actual car Ronald raced with ... Seen many times Umino didn't allow to photograph the original race care

Or the car was photographed before that setup adjustment was made.

Use a shorter ball stud. My rear link is like that, but I'm using the aluminum cam adjusters. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Are the plastic Cams on the 2014 car different than on the ..2012 BD7?

A friend of mine said that when he tigtens down the shock tower mounts for his new BD7 2014 black ed, his diff and spool bearings don't spin freely anymore. I don't have this issue at all on my BD7. Anyone notice this? i remember reading this a few posts back, but what was the conclusion?

I had the same problem. I put alloy BD5 ones on the car and it fixed the problem.

In quality the 14 is a step down from the original BD7.
Half my suspension pivot balls didn't fit on the hinge pins. The cams squash the bearings.
I have own every BD5 since the W. Didn't have these problems with the 5s as it came with everything.

my 2104 upgrade kit arrive today along with the new drive shafts

sadly I wont have time to install it for this weekend, but did install the driveshaft's and the updated steering linkages, but im not sure they will do anything since they look the same as the old ones..

New driveshaft's look good though, very tight clips, so they shouldn't come free, and feel very smooth.

Beth.
